UK Lunabotics 2026
A 12-member team represented the University of Sheffield at the UK's first Lunabotics, introducing our full-scale rover, Deimos, featuring a working custom-built excavator system. We are actively working on this design to compete again in 2027.
Olympus Rover Trials (ORT) 2026
Organised by UKSEDS and hosted at RAL Space in Didcot, our six-student sub-team, led by Kee Yee Yang, successfully designed and presented a brand-new Mini Rover, paving the way for an even stronger performance in 2027.
Anatolian Rover Challenge (ARC) 2025
Having debuted as the only UK team at ARC in 2022, Project MarsWorks returned to Türkiye in 2025, achieving an 8th-place finish. Building on this momentum, our team aims for an even higher finish for the 2027 challenge.
Anatolian Rover Challenge (ARC) 2022
In the inaugural year of the competition, Project MarsWorks made its first exhibition at ARC, as the only UK team finishing 10th overall.
European Rover Challenge (ERC) 2019
Project MarsWorks first ever international competition in Krakow, Poland and the first sign of the scale and complexity the project was capable of. The team finished 16th-place overall.
Lunar Rover Competition UKSEDS 2017
At the time called Project MoonWorks, the team embarked on its very first competition. Starting off with a bang placing 1st for Best Innovation.
